As a child, Nick and his father used to go trout fishing at Mt. Lassen's Hat Creek. He booked a last minute camping trip, as we have both been wanting to camp all year. I decided this would also be a good time to invest in a decent sleeping bag, and purchased the Mountain Hardware mummy bag. I can't say what was more exciting: fishing, smores, or my new sleeping bag........ It was a fun weekend, and as you can see, we were blessed with a gorgeous snowfall on the way home. I hope Hat Creek becomes a yearly tradition.
