For my Birthday this year, I decided it would be awesome if Nick and I both went up to Alaska for a long weekend. We booked a fishing trip with my cousin's best friend: Mike Wheat - Hooked for LIfe. It was one of the best birthdays yet.

Nick caught the first Salmon, I caught the second (and largest), and then that was it for Salmon. For Halibut- Nick caught the largest, and was first again, and then the rest of us caught our fair share and Nick and I flew home with 60 pounds of fresh Alaskan fish.

Mike Wheat guts and cleans the fish on board the boat. Then we cleaned the fish, and vacuum sealed it and put it in a freezer box to take on the flight home.
