Nick had a hankering for Crawfish, so after some investigation, was told to head across the Mississippi River into Louisiana to a place called C&M Crawfish. I tried one, but there was no chance in hell that I was going to tear those things apart.... yuck! I stuck to shrimp & corn. 2lbs of crawdads later, Nick was satisfied, and content.

Nick and I took the long way home on Sunday, and stopped in Ventura, drove up the 1 for a bit, and ate lunch in Santa Barbara at La Super Rica - a fave of Julia Child's.
