This year I met up with the B family over Thanksgiving break at their vacation rental in Marshall, California! What a treat it was - the kids all smiled for every pic, the lighting was GORGEOUS, and they indulged me in a couple of poses that weren't soo traditional. What an absolute TREAT it was to visit the Yuba River just north of Nevada City, California. I was completely blown away at the COLOR, and the ROCKS! Although we could not really swim in the river, we did manage to find a spot in between the rocks at Hoyts Crossing, to relax in the river, while Harold swam back & forth between on, while on leash. I would like to explore this area of California even further, to find the perfect swimming hole, where the pup can be offleash.

Rodeo Beach is incredible, and even more special during Sunset. Nestled in the middle of the Marin Headlands, it offers a place for surfers, photographer, and dog lovers to play. Harold, Nick and I visited to check out if the beach needed any extra cleaning for the Surfriders Foundation monthly beach clean. This trip also gave me an excuse to use my new Canon 70-200mm IS f4 lens. I can't wait to use this with clients!
