Weekend in Murrieta
Nick and I decided to surprise his brother on his birthday, and drove down to Murrieta to spend time with the family. How cute are these munchkins? We had a blast. Thanks Tanya and Andrew for having us!

I finally had the priviledge to take pictures of Regina's family as they grow into 4! she is currently pregnant, and wanted to capture this moment in time with her boys, before baby girl arrives. We took pictures in the Lucas Valley area of Marin, on a sunny Mothers Day.

Holland 6 months
Holland is my first baby to take part in the "First Year" Package. We are half-way done, and she is now 6 months! She is still an absolute DOLL. Can't wait to see her again in 3 months.
Holland at 3 months
I am starting a "First Year Package", that will document baby from birth to 1st birthday. First up is baby Holland. These pictures all happened within the span of 20 minutes. Mom was prepared to shoot, and baby was happy!
Kneafsey present 2014
I wanted to do something special for my kneafseys, and Brian mentioned getting pics taken of the kids last spring, so I thought this might be a good time to take their first formal picture together, without our sweet Tess. The kids showed up in pink (of course!) and together, we set out to create a nice picture for their parents.
Framing mess the night before Christmas Eve...
I also took a stab (literally got stabbed during this project) at framing. I wanted to make a custom pocket to hold the proofs that didn't quite make the cut.

Christmas Day!
It was my third Christmas with what I call my "mill valley family". I love being surrounded by kids, awesome food, & music - its the perfect Christmas dinner for me.

I finally got to shoot these three. I've known them since their wedding - In fact, I opened the church doors for A on her wedding day. I love their spirit, and think this shoot captured the family that they are.
Family Portraits - Party of 9!
My former neighbor called me all the way from Minnesota to book a Family Portrait session while she was in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday. After a couple more phone calls and texts, we decided to shoot in Lucas Valley, just before sunset, and have the family wear blues & grays.
I am so happy with the results! Thanks K! So great to see you and the family again.

Baby Grady
Here are some snippets from a mini-shoot from Saturday morning. A mini-shoot starts at $150, and is 20-30 minutes at your house or an agreed upon location. All of these pics were taken at Grady's house, and the shoot lasted about 25 minutes.

I am just starting to broaden my "maternity" portfolio. Alissa & Corry were gracious enough to play with me out in Lucas Valley last weekend. They are expecting a New Years baby!

Family Portraits at Muir Beach
One of my favorite families in Marin wanted to shoot a Muir Beach this year. I jumped at the chance! I did have to battle with the sun....... but I brought a continuous light that I could adjust accordingly, and then did some adjustments in post production. I am happy with the results.
