Read MoreNewborn portrait sessions typically happen at your home - sometimes even in 1 room! This session was 45 minutes of me hanging out with newborn Arlowe, and baby number 3 for one of my favorite families. We hung out in the living room, the girls showed me the balance beam, and there were lots of kisses and hugs for their new baby sister. All pictures were taken here in marin county. Total number of pictures for this shoot was 100, and the price for a newborn shoot, as of 2018 for 45 minutes is $350. Client will also receive a package of 4x6 prints.

Read MoreI've been taking pictures of this fun family for 3 years now, and every year they manage to color coordinate with the location PERFECTLY. This year we chose the ridge the divides the San Rafael Sun Valley neighborhood, with the Terra Linda side of San Rafael. It has multiple names: Ridgewood Trail, Sleepy Hollow Terra Linda Divide, Sorich Ranch.... All of those names work! Thank you P Family for your continued support.

The pictures are beautiful! You truly captured Josie's little (big) personality. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and turning these around so quickly. I am so happy that we now have these great shots for our memories of this special time with her.
Now the hardest part is going to be picking which photo for the card! Let me know where we should send it!
Read MoreThis shoot was one of those instances where the timing was just a little bit off - our youngest model here unexpectedly took a nap the afternoon before the shoot, so waking him up for pictures was definitely a challenge! With the collective effort of Mom, Dad and Big Brother, we ended up getting some smiles! Wardrobe note: I typically shy away from logos & neons, but in this instance, it worked!

Read MoreWhen Tereza & Cody suggested this year's family portrait session be held on Mt. Tam, I was a little apprehensive because of tourists, and I know their girls are still small (which basically means, short attentions for photos!), but Nick and I managed to find our our little corner of the Matt Davis Trail, next to the Pantoll trail, that was perfectly suited for families with small children. What we ended up capturing was life during this time when not everyone wants to smile, or even get their picture taken. I want T & C to look back a these photos and remember this moment in time with a feeling of fondness. Parenthood can be busy, but its so so so worth it!
