Read MoreDuring my first meeting with Susan & Dean, I liked that they were committed to San Rafael by keeping their business, home and wedding here. They are also committed to honoring their parents, staying active in the community, and keeping in touch with old friends.
As a couple, they respect each other and are classy and confident. Their wedding at the San Rafael Elks Lodge, through Maple Lawn Events, was gorgeous and filled with loving friends and family.
I'll admit that I cry at every wedding... Yes, I keep it together, and yes, maybe its because of the stress. But at Susan and Deans wedding, that moment presented itself while they were on the dancefloor during their first dance. What I got from that moment was that true love and commitment happens no matter the time or place, and that is something to celebrate.
I feel totally grateful to be their wedding photographer.
Nick & I spent a weekend in Encinitas for his cousin's wedding at the San Diego Botanical Garden. Sure, I could have brought my camera, and given you a bunch of dslr blog-worthy photos, but instead I chose to travel lightly, and in most cases (aka: morning walks on beach) I left my phone at home. HOWEVER - I did snap some pics with my Samsung Note 5 at the wedding, and here's what we came up with: 1 gorgeous wedding, a super crazy dance party, and the most lucky bride/groom on the planet. Such a great night. xoxoxo
Saturday morning at Laguna Seca, snapping away for Porsche Rennsport Reunion V!
Read MoreI've been searching for some kind of program to be involved with that gives middle class families the chance to spoil their children with extra cirricular activities. My parents both worked hard to be able to give us piano lessons, swimming trips, chior trips to europe, dark room equipment, football, soccer & baseball - the list goes on! So today I discovered donorschoose.org, and found a classroom about 1 mile away from where I live that needed media tools for a project. I decided to donate to this project because honestly I'll never forget the first photography award I won in the 7th grade, and the confidence that it gave me as a student!
Please search donorschoose.org to see if a classroom near you is in need of any specific material: http://www.donorschoose.org/
Well now I feel like I've been hiding in a hole, because look at this timeline! What a company!
I'll include a recent picture of Mt. Tam, because this is a photography blog afterall!
Caitlin invited Nick & I to the 2015 Chardonnay Harvest at her boyfriend's fathers Hobby Winery in Penngrove, California. His father Gordon, is the proud owner of Peacock Ranch, where he planted various grapes back in 1997, and is now in his 15th year of winemaking.
