This wedding reminded me of the beauty of Paul Simon Graceland, being barefoot is underrated, and that food served in courses over the night with drinks and friends is really one of the most joyous things around. I feel like the Nora Ephron inside of me was bright and abundant. I never want to forget this wedding party.

When Tereza & Cody suggested this year's family portrait session be held on Mt. Tam, I was a little apprehensive because of tourists, and I know their girls are still small (which basically means, short attentions for photos!), but Nick and I managed to find our our little corner of the Matt Davis Trail, next to the Pantoll trail, that was perfectly suited for families with small children. What we ended up capturing was life during this time when not everyone wants to smile, or even get their picture taken. I want T & C to look back a these photos and remember this moment in time with a feeling of fondness. Parenthood can be busy, but its so so so worth it!
Read MoreRodeo Beach is incredible, and even more special during Sunset. Nestled in the middle of the Marin Headlands, it offers a place for surfers, photographer, and dog lovers to play. Harold, Nick and I visited to check out if the beach needed any extra cleaning for the Surfriders Foundation monthly beach clean. This trip also gave me an excuse to use my new Canon 70-200mm IS f4 lens. I can't wait to use this with clients!
