This year we chose the ridge the divides the San Rafael Sun Valley neighborhood, with the Terra Linda side of San Rafael. Read MoreI love it when a family is so perfectly color coordinated! They took a leap with the mustard yellow accent, and putting both men in plaid that compliments each other. I love mixtures of patterns and materials too. This shoot was scheduled for a mother who has recently changed her title to Grandmother, with 2 adorable new babies under 1 year old. An extended shoot is more of a bargain, and is perfect for when relatives are in town. Two of these families were not from the Bay Area. The Extended Family shoot package is $450, and can be divided amongst the family members, so everyone walks away with at least 20 images per family. This shoot produced a staggering 195 images in a little under 1 hour of shooting! Well China Camp sure is the hidden gem this year, isn't it?!? Here we have Chloe, a daughter from Sacramento. Her parents and I have our outfit changes down to a science, so we were able to fit a few looks into one mini-shoot. Thank you Chloe for being an absolute sweetheart.

This shoot took place at the Sleepy Hollow / Terra Linda Divide in San Rafael - this starts at the end of Ridgewood Drive in the Sun Valley Neighborhood. We had the hills to ourselves, and it was a group effort in terms of posing - half of these poses were Luke's (pictured here standing on the rock) idea!

With the collective effort of Mom, Dad and Big Brother, we ended up getting some smiles! Wardrobe note: I typically shy away from logos & neons, but in this instance, it worked!
